William S. “Bill” Wornom, Jr.

William S. “Bill” Wornom, Jr. 77, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.Bill was a native and lifelong resident of Seaford. He graduated from York High School in 1966 and retired from the Naval Weapon Station after many years of service. He was a lifetime member of Zion United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Esther V Crockett and William Samuel Wornom, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, of 52 years, a son, Richard Wornom, and daughter, Sherry Wornom and two grandchildren, Mallory and Cooper Wornom.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 1:00PM at Zion United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends following the service in the church social hall.
