William Jennings Garber, Jr.

William Jennings Garber, Jr., 95, passed away on October 14, 2023. Bill was a native of New Jersey and son of the late Williams J Garber and Clementine Ferretti Garber, and a peninsula resident since 1975. He was a veteran of the U S Air Force and retired after 30 years of service. After retiring Bill was a tour bus driver for over 20 years. He was a 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus and the oldest registered member of the Boy Scouts on the Peninsula.
He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years Joan Garber and his children, Marilyn Garber, Jacci Sciacchitano (Mark), Steve Garber (Paula), Jeff Garber (Debbie) and Richard Garber (Rachel) 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Virginia
Memorial Mass on Friday at 10:00 AM in St Joan of Arc Catholic Church. He will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery a later date.
