William “Bill” Lindsay

William “Bill” Lindsay, 70, of Yorktown, Virginia, passed away Monday, December 9th, 2024.
Bill, a native of New Rochelle, New York, attended State University of New York at Buffalo. After college he was employed by several steel and bridge painting contractors, painting bridges in New York, New Jersey, Maryland and the George P. Coleman Memorial Bridge in Yorktown, Va. Finally landing at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Va., Bill worked for various contractors from 1986 to 2015. He was a member of IBEW Local 1340.
Bill is survived by his wife, Sherry; cousins Dennis Sayer and Linda Lichtenberger (Cliff) of Hilton Head Island, SC; Anne Picciano (Bob); John Picciano, Jr. (Donna), of Westchester, NY; Sisters-in-Law Barbara Belcher of Lanexa, Va. and Missy Wooten (Timmy) of Barhamsville, Va.; Brother-in-law, Michael Newman of Lanexa, Va.; The Lapi Family of Westchester, NY and Pine Beach, NJ; many nieces, nephews, good friends and great neighbors on Gray Lane.
At Bill’s request, there will be no funeral service.
