Wendy Stook

Wendy Stook, beloved daughter, sister, devoted animal lover, and cherished friend, passed away on October 19, 2024 at the age of 55.
Her heart was full of love, which she spread generously to her family, her golden retrievers and springer spaniels, and the countless children she nurtured during her long career in childcare.
She was a lifelong advocate for love as the foundation of family. Her passion of holidays was unmatched—she was always the first to decorate, from Valentine’s hearts to Halloween pumpkins—but if she had her way, every day would have been Christmas, a season that perfectly captured her joyful spirit.
A die-hard Buffalo Bills fan, Wendy never missed a game. She could often be found cheering on her team with her loyal dogs by her side.
Wendy leaves behind a legacy of kindness and humor that was coupled with a coy smile and a splash of sarcasm. She will be deeply missed by her family, her many friends, and everyone whose life she touched. Rest easy, dear sister. Your presence, your kindness, and your laughter will forever be missed.
Wendy is survived by her parents, Michael and Kathryn Stook. Siblings, Mark Stook (Jillian), Brian Stook, Sally Stook (Anita) and, Laura Stook. Nephews, Derick Stook, and Roman Hiser. Nieces, Brittany Grabowski, Ellen Mundy, and Abbey Stook.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that you are now at peace. You leave behind a legacy of love, and your memory will always be cherished. Until we meet again, rest well.
