Trevor Tackett


Trevor Tackett, 32, of Tampa Florida, passed away on 6 February 2025 doing what he loved as a government contractor.

Trevor was born in Key West, Florida to Steve and Sandra Tackett. He is survived by his siblings Joshua Tackett (Emilee and niece Alaina), Danielle Smith (Brandon), Kaity Tackett, Andrew Tackett, and Cameron Tackett, and his forever love Valorie Ragone, along with other extended family members. He was preceded by his grandparents Ed and Mary Sorensen and Cecil and Karen Tackett, and his best furry friend Roxy.

As a child of a military family, he lived in locations including Hawaii, Germany, California and Virginia. He graduated Tabb High School in 2010 where he participated in the wrestling program. Trevor joined the Air Force in 2011 as an Imagery Analyst and transitioned to a government contractor role after his first enlistment, supporting the War on Terror through multiple overseas deployments. Between deployments, he co-managed two businesses with friends.

Trevor never met a stranger and was known for being friendly, approachable, and supportive to those around him. Trevor loved to cook for large crowds and was known to spoil his siblings and his niece.

There will be a viewing from 4-6 P.M. at Amory Funeral Home on Sunday, February 16th. A service will take place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (113 Sinclair Dr., Yorktown, VA) on Monday, February 17th at 11:00 A.M. A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, February 19th at 1:00 PM at Williamsburg Memorial Park. There will also be a celebration of life at 6 PM on Saturday, February 22nd at Pups Pub Tampa (2202 W Kennedy Blvd, Tampa FL).
