It is with deep sorrow and boundless love that we announce the passing of Tracy L. Franklin, 50, of Williamsburg, Virginia. She passed peacefully in her sleep. Tracy was a loving mother, devoted daughter, cherished sister, and loyal friend. Her radiant spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering kindness touched the hearts of all who knew her. She carried herself with strength, grace, compassion, and always put others before herself.
Preceded in death by her mother Judy McConnel Franklin, Tracy is survived by her beloved son Jackson Dozier, who was the light of her life and her greatest pride. Tracy also leaves behind her father Wayne Franklin (Marvic), her brother Jason Franklin, her sisters Morgan Dibble (Connor) and Alex Franklin,— each of whom will hold her memory close in the days ahead.
Tracy will be remembered for her fierce love of family, her generosity, and the quiet resilience that carried her through life’s challenges. She had a gift for making people feel seen and heard, and her warmth will be missed beyond measure.
A celebration of Tracy’s life will be held Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 6 PM at Amory Funeral Home in Yorktown, Va. Burial services will be conducted at Sugar Hill Baptist Church on Sunday, April 13th at 2 pm.
