Timothy Allen Stook
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Tim, who left us on 8-17-2024 at the age of 49.
He was a cherished son, brother, uncle and friend to many, known for his kindness, sense of humor, and generosity.
Tim was born in Buffalo, New York. He grew up in East Aurora and attended East Aurora High School. He furthered his education at Christopher Newport University. It was during these years when he lived life to its fullest and anchored his most precious memories. Following college, Tim went on to pursue a career as a Regional Sales Engineer where he was respected and admired by colleagues and friends alike.
Tim was passionate about fitness, being an unwavering lifetime Buffalo Bills fan, and a whole hearted CNU alumni. He found immense joy in the warmth of the sun, the serenity of the water, the freedom of boating, and soaking in the peacefulness of the waves. Tim found great happiness gathering with family on the back porch where he enjoyed the nostalgic tunes of 80’s music, taking a dip in the pool or cheering passionately for the Buffalo Bills with family while munching on chicken wings. Tim has a deep and abiding faith in Jesus, he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in times of need and was known for his generous sharing. Tim is survived by his parents, Michael and Kathryn Stook. Siblings, Mark (Jill), Brian, Wendy, Sally (Anita) and Laura. Nephews, Derick Stook, and Roman Hiser. Nieces, Brittany Grabowski, Ellen Mundy, and Abbey Stook. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations by check be made to the Yorktown Hospice House building fund at the following address, PO Box 704 Yorktown Virginia 23692 . Hospice homes are a well needed service in our area. Visionaries of the Yorktown Hospice House played a vital role to help Tim fulfill his final wish of transitioning with dignity while being surrounded by his family.
Rest in peace, dear Tim. Your memory will forever live on in our hearts.
