Susan Mary Cluverius Dorner

Susan Mary Cluverius Dorner, 73, of Williamsburg, VA passed peacefully surrounded by her family January 24, 2022. She was born May 28, 1948 at Ramey Air Force Base in Aquadilla, Puerto Rico. Shortly after graduating from Stranahan High School in Fort Lauderdale, FL she moved to Newport News, VA where she resided most of her adult life. She spent the last 23 years as a faithful Mary Immaculate employee.
She is survived by her mother Carol Cluverius, brother Joseph (Kristi) Cluverius, daughter Julie Dorner, son Andy (Michelle) Dorner, along with six grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Susan’s ever present smile and laughter will be missed by not only her family, but a host of friends and coworkers.
She took her roll as “Nanny” very seriously, and was always present for all her grandbabies sporting events and performances. She loved her family and it showed.
Memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, January, 30, 2022 in Amory Funeral Home Chapel.
