Sharon Elam Darrigan

Sharon Elam Darrigan, a devoted Christian of the Baptist faith, lived a life filled with love, kindness, and unwavering faith.
She served as a deacon and found great joy in teaching Sunday school, sharing her wisdom and compassion with all who knew her. Sharon had a heart full of joy, never met a stranger, and had a deep love for reading.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Sharon Annette, Tidmarsh, Matthew Bagwell, and Melody Faulkenberry; her cherished grandchildren, Samuel Williams, Emma Williams, and Gabriel Faulkenberry; and her beloved siblings, Howard Elam and Donna Elam Smith.
In honor of Sharon’s giving spirit, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to her favorite charity, Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Child, an organization close to her heart.
Sharon’s warmth, wisdom, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
