Leonie Duncan’s Celebration of Life will be held at the WOW Center 1233 Shields Road, Newport News, VA 23608 on January 24, 2026 at 10:00am.
Immediately following the Celebration of Life service, friends and family are invited to the repass / reception for food, beverages, and sharing memories of Leonie at the WOW Center 2 campus at 525 Industrial Park Drive, Newport News, VA 23608.

Service will be conducted immediately following visitation at the funeral home and officiated by Pastor Joseph Lahr of Cornerstone Community Church. Burial will take place at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Lowellville, Ohio immediately following service.

A memorial service to celebrate Ronald’s life and legacy will be held at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 300 Ella Taylor Road, Yorktown, VA 23692, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions to a faith-based ministry or charity that supports discipleship, missions, or Christian service in honor of Ronald’s lifelong passion.
He has now entered the presence of his Lord and Savior, having run his race with perseverance and finished well. “Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:21)

Nancy and Paul danced… at square dances, Lion’s club shows and every wedding they attended. Now they are dancing together again.

All who wish to honor and remember Haley/Rose are invited to attend her interment with full military honors at her final resting place. She will be laid to rest in Chattanooga, TN, at Chattanooga National Cemetery where family, friends, fellow service members, and all whose lives she touched may gather to pay their respects, reflect on her life of service and compassion, and share in a moment of remembrance and gratitude for the enduring legacy she leaves behind. Additional details regarding the interment will be shared once final arrangements are complete.
Cancer took her life, but it will never take her legacy. SPC Rose/Nova will forever be remembered as a healer, an artist, an outdoorswoman, and a beloved daughter, wife, and Soldier whose courage, compassion, and love will endure.

Karen’s request was to be cremated and to have her ashes spread at a meaningful location from her childhood. While there will not be a formal celebration of life, the family encourages all who knew her to honor her in their own personal manner. She was an incredible person who made a meaningful contribution during her time in the world. May she rest in peace.
