Sandra Lynn (Sandie) Turner

Sandra Lynn (Sandie) Turner, 67, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 24, 2024.
Sandie was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Della and Edward Turner. She was a resident of Baton Rouge and a graduate of Glen Oaks High School. She was a career manager with Albertson’s and Walmart. Sandie was a gifted and creative artist that was passionate about making the holidays special for others. She moved to Glen Allen, Virginia before moving to Williamsburg, Virginia in 2019.
She loved her family and her pup. She is survived by her son Edward (Ed) Vaughan, his wife Giselle Vaughan, her grandson—her pride & joy—Greyson Edward Vaughan; her two stepchildren King Vaughan & Kimbre Collier; her brother Jesse Marcus, his wife Linda Marcus, and their children Jesse Marcus, Jr. & Jamie Marcus; her nephews Mark & Tommy Zirkle; and her puppy, Sophie. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Della Turner and her sister Marie Marcus.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Chesapeake Memorial Cemetery, Chesapeake, Virginia.
