Robert (Robbie) John Holup

Hampton VA-Robert (Robbie) John Holup age 63 died peacefully at home in the presence of loving family and friends on August 27, 2022, after a six-month battle with cancer. He is survived by special friend Pat Curtis, his mother Anne Holup, sister Terri Holup-Phillips (Carter), sister Mary Holup, brother Kenneth Holup (Sherry), nephew John Carter Phillips, niece Jessica Holup, niece Mallory Holup and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father John Holup and great niece Aurora Baez- Phillips.Robert served honorably in the United States Army having received numerous awards and commendations throughout his service. Cremation will be at Armory Funeral Home. A gathering for family and friends will be held at a future date. Special thanks to the staff at Virginia Oncology Associates and Hospice of Virginia for their compassionate care.
