Rebecca “Becky” Burke Williams

Rebecca “Becky” Burke Williams, 77, of York County, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026.

A native of Gwynn’s Island, Virginia, Becky was a lifelong Virginia resident who took great pride in her work and the life she built surrounded by family and the beauty of the outdoors. She retired in 2008 after 42 years of dedicated service at Naval Weapons Station, where she served as an Inventory Accuracy Control Manager.

Becky had a profound love for being outdoors. She found joy and peace in spending time in nature. She will be remembered for the life she lived, the people she loved, and the memories she created with those closest to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Ruth Williams, and her beloved brother, Thomas Jerome “Jerry” Williams.

In accordance with Becky’s wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. She will be laid to rest on Gwynn’s Island alongside her family.
