Paulette Mai Fox-Gullett


Paulette Mai Fox-Gullett of Williamsburg, VA. passed away peacefully on Friday, 16th of August 2024.
Born to May Fox, she was the middle of five children. Her siblings Rene, Tommy, Elizabeth & Bobby Fox. She went to Stonebridge Lane secondary modern school in Croxteth, a suburb of Liverpool. Paulette’s first job was clerical at Little Woods pools where she also was runner up in the “Miss Little Woods” beauty competition. Her next job was as a silver service waitress on the Isle of Man. Paulette married U.S.A.F. Airman James Karchner with whom they raised four children.
Paulette was a collector, importer & Dealer of fine British Antiques. She was sole proprietor of “Liverpool Antiques”. And had multiple stores in Hampton Roads from 1976 until her retirement in in 2006. In 2004 Paulette married Harry Gullett and they resided in Williamsburg VA. until his passing in 2018.
She is survived by her four children James, Russell, Marlisse & Onalisse, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Paulette was proud of her Liverpool heritage. Her wishes were to be cremated and her ashes spread on the River Mersey, Liverpool, England
