Patricia “Pat” Ann Brazzale

Seaford, Va. – Patricia Ann Brazzale the daughter of Henry Lynwood and Ruby Crandol Harlow, passed away the morning of Saturday February 15th. She is survived by her loving husband Richard Douglas Brazzale and two sons Scott Henry and Erik Douglas Brazzale a sister Ruby Mae Shieves. Grandmother to Scott Anthony, Ryan, Nicholas, Amanda, Valerie, Jonathan and Michael. Pat was also great-grandmother to Alex, Conor, Lily, Charlotte, Isabella, Isadora and Elizabeth (deceased).
Pat was born October 21st 1937 and raised in Newport News and attended Warwick High. Later she attended the College of DuPage in Illinois. She was very active, as a den mother for the Boy Scouts. In 1987 she had moved from Joliet, Illinois back to Virginia to take care of family.
Her real talent and passion was quilting. She was part of the Peninsula Piecemakers Quilt Guild and the “Quilts of Valor” making quilts for soldiers returning from overseas deployment. These quilts were truly works of art.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Amory Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 20, 9:00 AM at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church with reception to follow. Burial will follow at 12:30 PM in Peninsula Memorial Park. Memorial may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
