Patricia Fay Lockhart

Patricia Fay Lockhart passed peacefully at home on January 5, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of service, love, and community devotion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, SMSGT Billy Lockhart, a proud member of the United States Air Force, who served his country proudly with honors for 27 years and passed in 2024. As an Air Force wife and mother, Patricia carried grace, resilience, and warmth wherever life took her.
Patricia is survived by her children, Katrina Rochon and her husband James Rochon, Kevin Lockhart and his wife Heather Lockhart, and Kristy Lockhart, as well as her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchild, all of whom were central to her life and heart.
A devoted member of the Yorktown community, Patricia was a longtime volunteer and former President of the Board of Directors of the Yorktown Bargain Box, a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization serving York County since 1967. Through her leadership and service, she helped further the Bargain Box’s mission of assisting local families in need—supporting emergency assistance, vocational scholarships, childcare aid, and grants to other community-serving organizations. Her commitment reflected her deep belief in neighbors caring for one another.
Patricia was known for her love of travel, dance, horticulture, theater, crafts such as needlepoint and crochet, and learning about other cultures. She gave generously of her time and energy, finding joy in helping others and in being present for her family and friends. She lived with passion, curiosity, and an open heart.
Her presence in the Yorktown community, and in the lives of those who loved her, will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Service will be private.
En lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Yorktown Bargain Box in her name. Contact details can be found at TheBargainBox.org.
