

Patricia Ann Weaver Crilly
Yorktown, VA – Patricia Ann Weaver Crilly, 79, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025.
Patsy was a beloved native and lifelong resident of York County. She graduated from York High School in 1963, worked at Newport News Shipbuilding before dedicating many years of her life as a nursing assistant. Additionally, she drove a school bus for York County before retiring as a Private Duty Caregiver.
Patsy was an active member of the World Outreach Worship Center in Newport News, where she faithfully attended her Faith Builders ladies’ prayer group each week and served as a Chaplain there. Her faith and dedication to her community were an inspiration to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ivan Alfred Crilly, affectionately known as “Dutch,” as well as her parents, Franklin Brown Weaver, Sr. and Elizabeth Beatrice Brown Weaver.
Patsy is survived by her children: Kristen “Kristy” Lee Hamilton (James), Tammy L. Nichols, and Lena Nichols “Nickie” Gandolfo (Partner Brian Jones). She cherished her role as “Bambi” to her grandchildren: Eden Victoria Long, Aaron Stephen Long, Moriah Kristen Long, Tiffany L. Howell, Gabriella “Gabbie” Gandolfo, and her six great-grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by her brothers, Wayne “Brownie” Brown Weaver (Donna) and Franklin “Frankie” Brown Weaver, Jr. (Debra), as well as her sister, Nancy Weaver Call (Arthur “Buddy”). Known as Aunt Patsy, she was dearly loved by her five nieces, three nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Her family extends heartfelt gratitude for the loving support and care provided by the staff at Regency Health and Rehabilitation Center, Riverside Regional Hospital, and Select Service Specialty Hospital.
A service to celebrate Patsy’s life will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, starting with visitation at 11:00 AM with service at Noon at the World Outreach Worship Center 1233 Shields Road, Newport News, VA, with burial to follow at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk, VA at 2:00 PM. Arrangements are under the care of Amory Funeral Home, 410 Grafton Drive, Yorktown, VA.
