Norma R. Purvis

Yorktown, Va. – Norma R. Purvis, 91, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022. Norma was a native of Kansas and a Yorktown resident since 1968. She was a member of Seaford Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Stanley Jefferson Purvis and a daughter, Sheryl Sarver. She is survived by her sons, David W. “Butch” Purvis of Valdosta, GA. and Ronald E. Purvis and his wife Sandra of Newport News; 4 grandchildren, Brittany, Heather, James and Tracy; 4 great grandchildren, Noah, Chase, Zoie and Dylan.
A funeral service will be held at NOON on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, in Amory Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service
