Martha Slaight Tooley

Martha Slaight Tooley, 79, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024.
Martha was a native of Seaford and a lifelong resident of Yorktown, Va. She graduated from York High School and retired from Fort Eustis after 40 years of service.
She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Lynn Tooley and her son Gregory Varela and his wife Jennifer and her grandchildren Sara, Carmen and Faith as well as her longtime friend for over 40 years Lois M. Green, and her friend and caregiver Dee Thomas, and was preceded in death by her cousin Avis C. Hunt.
