Marjorie Elise Archuleta

Marjorie Elise Archuleta, 90, Newport News, Va., joined Our Lord and Savior December 19, 2020. Marjorie was born in Jacksonville, Fla., and graduated from Washington High School, Sioux Falls, S.D. During her life, Marjorie worked at a food packing company, spent several years as a waitress. and assisted the elderly while employed at Braswell’s Assisted Living Facility, Redlands Calif. She was married 40 glorious years to her devoted husband, David Archuleta, a Pearl Harbor veteran who served in the U.S. Navy. Marjorie was also a loving mother to her adoring sons Steve and Robert. She is survived by Steve and daughter-in law, Okhui, of Yorktown, Va.; grandson Joseph and his fiancée Maverick Gloria; her sister Hazel Lewis; and nieces Sherri and Starla. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, January 12, 11 a.m., at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 116 Denbigh Blvd., Newport News, Va. Marjorie will rest with her beloved husband David at Riverside National Cemetery in California.
