Margaret Andre Jackson

Margaret Andre Jackson, 74, passed away on November 16, 2024, in Yorktown, Virginia following a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Andre was born in Houma, Louisiana on April 11, 1950 to Lois and Arnet Le Blanc. As a military spouse she lived several places before ultimately making her home in Newport News, Virginia, where she raised two children, Laura and Keith.
Andre was also a proud grandmother to Amanda, Colin, Emily, Lindsey, and Eli and a great-grandmother to Colby. She was blessed to be able to help care for several of her grandchildren regularly, which brought so much joy to her life.
Andre is survived by her daughter Laura Yaeckal and her husband Chris, and her son Keith Jackson and his wife Wendy. She is also survived by her sister, Lois Ruth Kahn of Durham, NC. She is preceded in death by her parents Lois and Arnet, and her sister Ann Bergeron.
The family would like to thank the physicians and staff at Riverside Peninsula Cancer Institute & Infusion Center for the exceptional support and care given to Andre.
