Magdalena Julianna Mary Benko

Yorktown, Va. – Magdalena Julianna Mary Benko, 84, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024.
Magdalena was a native of Hungary and former Ohio resident for 36 years before moving to the peninsula in 2004. She was a world traveler, talented artist, gardener, beautician, and war survivor. She was independent, strong, kind hearted, giving, loyal, and a mother to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kalman V. Benko, and is survived by her son, Gabor Moricz and daughters Christina Harvey (and husband Mike), Diana Blasko (and husband Robert), and Chavaleh Simpson. She is also survived by her six beloved grandchildren, Michael and Evan Harvey, Emily and Sarah Blasko and Melissa and Breanna Moricz.
The service for Magdalena will be private. Arrangements by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, Va.
