Linda Molin

Linda Molin peacefully passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025.
Linda loved to plan trips and hiked almost all of the national parks, some more than once. After Linda and Stan hiked the national parks, they moved on to cruising with their cruise buddies, where they explored many fascinating destinations.
Linda was an active member of Temple Beth El, serving on committees, including the Rabbi Search Committee. She worked almost 30 years as an Administrative Assistant at the United Jewish Community of the Virginia Peninsula (UJCVP). Linda took great pleasure when her grandkids would come in to be with her while on the campus at the UJCVP. Linda’s feeling was that she was giving back to the UJCVP community that she loved. As a young professional, she also worked as an Administrator at Rocky Mount Gas in Denver Colorado and with The North Country Reform Temple in New York. Linda gave of herself by being a Hospice volunteer and assisting at Marriage Encounter.
Linda is survived by her husband of 62 years, Stanley Molin. Linda is also survived by her three sons, Jeffry Molin (Loretta), Peter Molin, and Michael Molin (Angela),her grandchildren Brendan Molin, Ryan Molin, Ethan Molin, Kyle Molin, Piera Molin, Makayla Molin, as well as her sister, Victoria Ward (Don).
A funeral service will be held at Amory Funeral Home in Grafton Virginia on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 1:00pm, officiated by Rabbi David Katz. Interment will follow in The Jewish Cemetery of the Virginia Peninsula, Hampton, VA.
A meal of consolation will follow at the UJCVP, City Center Boulevard, Newport News, at approximately 3:30 pm. If possible please let us know if you plan to attend the meal by calling 757-930-1422 or email http://www.ujcvp.org. All are welcome
