Leroy Junior Roberts

Yorktown, Va. – LeRoy Junior Roberts, 90 passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
LeRoy was a native of Midland, Michigan and a York County resident since 1977. He served in the United States Navy for 24 years retiring in 1977. After retiring he went to work for Mary Immaculate Hospital as Vice President of Engineering and Projects for 20 years, retiring again in 2000. LeRoy was an active member of the Kiwanis Club.
He will fondly be remembered by his friends and neighbors as a true friend and gentleman, a generous, kind, loving, faithful, and caring person. He enjoyed running, participating in marathons, fishing, and biking in his spare time.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his wife Judy Kelley Roberts and is survived by his sons, LeRoy James Roberts, Kevin Ronald Roberts and Robert Dean Roberts, a stepdaughter Laura Williams, and a stepson Brian Eric Williams; sisters Roberta Vaughn, Elaine Parish, Irene Garcia, and Luella Holford, grandchildren Damian Jessup, Cynthia Hilton, Courtney Roebuck, Dean Roberts, Dillon Roberts, Sara Roberts, Rachel Williams, and great grandchildren Joseph and Leeanna Roebuck.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 pm at Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, VA. Interment will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
