Larry Bruce Kline


Larry Bruce Kline, 76, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026, at Riverside Hospital in Newport News, VA.
He was born on September 8, 1949, in Reading, PA, where he resided for most of his life before moving to Yorktown, VA, with his beloved wife, Jane, in 2015.
Larry leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, warmth, and faith. He was a devoted husband, loving father, Pop-Pop, caring brother, and treasured friend to all.
Larry will be remembered most for his kind heart and joy he brought to the people around him. He truly knew how to enjoy life and loved a good time. He loved to dance and brought a sense of fun and warmth to family gatherings. Anyone who knew Larry knew his family meant everything to him. He especially loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Some of his happiest moments were simple times spent surrounded by the people he loved – watching movies, playing games, and sharing a song. His laughter and lighthearted personality created countless memories that his family will always remember.
Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jane, whom he missed terribly; his parents, David and Ruth Kline; and his brother, David Kline. He is survived by his children, Amy Ingoglia (Marc), Patrice Abi-Saab (Shadi), James Kline (Beth), and Sara Ripley (Anthony); and his 11 cherished grandchildren who brought him endless joy: Olivia, Ashley, and Lexi Ingoglia; Madison, Alex, and Emily Abi-Saab; Nick and Caroline Kline; and John, Julia, and Jason Ripley. He is also survived by his brothers, Kerry Kline (Coleen), and Arlan Kline.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 315 Harris Grove Lane, Yorktown, VA. The family will receive guests at the church beginning at 10:00 am.
Arrangements are being handled by Amory Funeral Home in Yorktown, VA. Burial will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026 at 11:00 am at Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News, VA.
