Kelly Carroll

With sorrow, we announce the passing of Kelly Carroll; loving wife, mother, and grammie on Monday, June 2, 2025 at her home in Yorktown, VA. Kelly was born on August 25, 1965 in Hampton Roads and was a lifelong resident.
She attended Hampton High School and worked at the Holy Family Retreat House during this time.
Professionally she worked over 30 years with WTIA, was an entrepreneur in real estate, and helped build the success of Kelly’s Construction.

Above everything, Kelly would consider her greatest achievement the success of her daughters.
Kelly is survived by her loving husband James (Rusty) Carroll, Jr.; daughters Leslie Goode and Bonnie Finch, son-in-laws Chad Goode and Justin Finch, and grandchildren Peyton and Rylee Goode. In addition, Kelly is survived by her sisters Bonnie S. Huff and husband Terry, Terri S. Hanson and husband Daniel, Cheryl S. Kiser and husband Frank, Sherry S. Behrens, and Pattie S. Weeks. She is also survived by her brothers Wayne Spencer and wife Rose, and Bernard Spencer III; along with many loving nieces, nephews, friends and dog, Buddy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard Spencer Jr. and Barbara Spencer, her sister Loretta Householder, and her brother-in-law Robert Behrens.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 6:00-8:00pm at Amory Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday at 11:00am in Amory Funeral Home Chapel.
