Kathleen JoAnne Dwiggins

Kathleen JoAnne Dwiggins, beloved wife, sister, mother, and grandmother passed away at the age of 71, on September 22, 2023.
Kathleen was born in El Paso, Texas on March 3rd, 1952 to her parents Mildred and Stanley Hilgendorf.
She was the loving wife of Timothy, who she wed on October 29, 1970, and mother of their three daughters Tricia, Amy, and EmiLeigh.
Kathleen was adventurous, industrious, artistic, and witty. She brought a vivacious spark wherever she went and lit up every room with her warmth. She loved working in her garden, travelling, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents. She is remembered by her husband, Timothy, her brother, Mike, her two sisters, Jamie and Suzanne, her daughters, Tricia, Amy, and EmiLeigh, her grandchildren, and many others who loved her.
There will be a service and fellowship on Tuesday, October 3rd at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 765 J. Clyde Morris Blvd. at 11am officiated by Pastor Adam Kuder, followed by interment at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery at 5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434 at 3pm. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend
