Judy Howell

Judy Howell, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on September 10, 2023 in Seaford, Virginia. She was born to Mary and Curtis Smith in 1958 in Gloucester, Virginia. She met the love of her life, Everett Howell, at the age of seventeen. They were together until he went to be with the Lord in 2022.
She is preceded in death by her husband, both her parents and her brothers, Thomas Smith, William Smith and Michael Smith. What Judy loved most was spending her time spoiling her grandchildren Abby, Solomon, and Owin. She also enjoyed gardening, shopping, snow skiing, traveling, and riding a Harley.
She was the owner of Coastal Cleaning, a company she ran with her husband and daughter. She was very good at letting everyone know she was the boss. She will be celebrated most for her generosity, humor and love for her family. Judy will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Nikki Norton and Scarlett Sullivan, her brother Allen Smith and her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A service for Judy is scheduled for Thursday, September 28th at 4:30 P.M. at Waters Edge Church. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the church. Arrangements by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, VA.
