JoAnn Day

Yorktown, Va. – JoAnn Day, 72, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.
JoAnn was a native of Greenville, North Carolina and was raised in Yorktown. JoAnn attended York High School and retired from Food Lion after 20 years of service. After retiring Joann loved to shop for her children and grandchildren whenever she was able.
She is survived by her husband Jessie Bryan Day and her children, Stephanie Boggs, Mary Kelley, William Parks, and step children, Danny Boggs and Kimberly Manry and her grandchildren, Jake Kelley, Sabrina Parks and Chloe Parks and 2 great grandchildren, Carolina and Brantley, she is also survived by her sisters, Sandy Hamby, Joyce Moye and Barbara Stevens. She was preceded in death by her husband Teddie Boggs and a son Harry Parks.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6-8 Pm on Saturday in Amory Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM in Mountain View Memorial Park, Rocky Mount, VA. Arrangements by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, VA.
