Janice L. Bee

Janice L. Bee (67) passed away peacefully at home on February 3, 2025.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a native of Hampton for over 50 years. She spent her final years in Poquoson.
Janice enjoyed hands-on activities. She loved camping, fishing, kayaking, cooking, gardening, and could always be found working on arts and crafts projects.
She worked from home being an exceptional wife and mother. She filled her days by being a homeroom mother, girl scout leader, driving carpool, cooking for the neighborhood kids, and getting the family ready for whatever adventure her husband Steve had planned for the family.
By far the highlight of her life was becoming a grandmother to her only grandson Stephen. She loved him more than life and called him her Angel Boy.
Janice is survived by the love of her life and husband of 51 years Stephen Bee; her daughters Rachel Welch (Pat) and Sarah Bee; her grandson Stephen Welch; her sister Sandra Creasman (Carroll); mother in law Nell Bee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Earl & Waverly Cook; sisters Mary Campbell (Jerry), Jean Shadduck (Paul), and father in law Grenval Bee.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 PM in Amory Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at NOON on Friday February 7, 2025 in Amory Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
Janice will always be loved, treasured, the topic of a wonderful memory or funny story, and dearly missed.
