James W. Davis

Yorktown, Va. – Retired SMSGT. James W. Davis born September 19, 1943 to B.J. and Mildred Davis in Cumberland, Maryland went to be with our Lord on Friday December 20, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years Helen and a sister Barbara.
Jim joined the U.S. Air Force in 1961 and spent 28 years serving his country statewide and overseas. After retiring in 1989 he continued working as a civil servant at L.A.F.B. till his official retirement in 2010.
He leaves his son Phil, Daughter Melissa (Brian), grandsons Chris (Farrah) and Kevin, granddaughter Kaylyn (Chris) and great grandsons Kyle, Jackson and Silas. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Suffolk.
