Rev. Mr. James (Jim) Satterwhite

Yorktown, Va. – Rev. Mr. James (Jim) Satterwhite, 74, passed away peacefully with family on Sunday May 14, 2023. Jim was a native of Cambridge, MA and a Yorktown resident for 22 years.
Jim served in the United States Air Force for 23 years retiring as CMSGT in 1990. After retiring from the Air Force Jim went to work for Northrop Grumman until 2012. He later served as a Deacon with St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church until his passing.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Cynthia Lois Satterwhite and his daughters, Phoebe C. McGrath (Jaime) of Mahwah, New Jersey and Alice C. Cherrix (Christopher) of Japan and 2 grandchildren, Aiden and Allison McGrath.
A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 20, 2023 in St Joan of Arc Catholic Church. A wake service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, May 19, 2023 in Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, VA.
