James Edward “Bo” Lockwood

Yorktown, Va – James Edward “Bo” Lockwood, 65, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026.
Bo was a native of West Virginia and graduated from Sherman High School class of 1979. He served in the U S Navy and worked for Jack L. Massie, Inc as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed fishing and watching the Mountaineers of West Virginia Football.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie Lockwood of 25 years and his children, Cody, Rachael, Brian and a grandson Bryson. He was preceded in death by his brother Steve Lockwood.

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
