Howard Lavelle

Yorktown, Va. – Howard Lavelle, 77 passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Howard was a native of New Jersey and a Yorktown resident since 1983. Howard retired from the U S Air Force in 1991 after 22 years of service. After retiring he went to work for Busch gardens in the landscaping department. He enjoyed collecting coins and coaching Little League Baseball.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Linda Kay Lavelle a son Howard “Skeeter” Lavelle (Tracey) and a daughter Mary Lavelle (Tom Lawson) a brother, Larry Lavelle grandchildren Matthew, Jeffrey, John, Devon, Haidyn, Sarah,Kayla, and Kurtis and great grandsons, Dayton and Mason.
He was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Madyson Hook and Grayson Starcher and brothers, James and Mike Lavelle Memorial service will be held at NOON on Saturday, September 23, 2023 in Amory Funeral Home Chapel.
