Heather Zsoldos Dohm

Heather Zsoldos Dohm, age 40, of Newport News, VA, passed away on November 7th, 2025.
Heather was born on February 3rd 1985 in Williamsburg , Virginia. She was the beloved wife of Cody Dohm and loving mother of Jack Zsoldos Dohm (3), Henry Salvatore Dohm (2) and Hannah Lucille Dohm (newborn). She was the devoted daughter of Jerry Zsoldos of Yorktown and the daughter-in-law of Bill and Sabrina Dohm of Broad Run, VA. Heather was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Ann Zsoldos and her brother, Philip Zsoldos. Heather also leaves behind her brother Jeremy Zsoldos (Tina), brother in-law Andrew Dohm, and sister in-law Madeline Hilliard (Walter), numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Heather was raised in Yorktown, Virginia and attended Grafton High School, graduating in 2003. Following her mother’s passion for caring for others, she became a registered nurse, attending George Mason University earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and then Western Governors University earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She worked at Sentara Williamsburg Medical Center, DaVita Kidney Care, and CarePlex Orthopaedic.
Heather met her future husband, Cody, at the Home Depot, where they happened to be redesigning their individual kitchens at the same time. The kitchen designer set them up on a date and, not long after, Heather and Cody married on October 24, 2020. They lived in Newport News, Virginia for a short time before being stationed in Wichita Falls, Texas. They were subsequently re-assigned to Langley Air Force Base in Hampton.
Graveside services will be held on Dec 1st at 1:00 PM at Providence United Methodist Church in York county, VA, there will be a reception following the service.
A celebration of life honoring Heather will be held at a future date.
