Gladys L. Rohrbach

Yorktown, Va. – Gladys L. Rohrbach, 78, passed away on Monday September 26, 2022. Gladys was born in Newport News, VA and was a lifelong York County Resident. She was a member of Chestnut Memorial United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening, working on puzzles and going on secret trips to Walmart.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Richard Carl Rohrbach, Jr. and is survived by her three daughters and kitty, Sharon Stevens (Rick), Lorrie Smith (Kevin), Lisa Rohrbach, and Binky; a sister Marion (Jenny) Doughty and 3 grandchildren, Joshua Stevens, Jessica Jurgensen and Jeffrey Futrell.
The family would like to express a sincere thank you to Riverside Hospice for their kindness and support they showed during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gladys’ memory can be made to PAWS Animal Welfare Sanctuary, 181 Messick, Rd., Poquoson, VA 23662.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 30, 2022 in Amory Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, VA.
