Franklin Lee Gootee

Yorktown, VA – Franklin Lee Gootee, age 80, died December 17, 2021 in York County, Virginia. He was born in Vincennes, Indiana July 13, 1941, the youngest son of the Late William Ottis Gootee and Rachel Helen Gootee.
Though He lived most of his life in Virginia, Frank was always proud to be a “Hoosier”.
He worked for civil service in Washington DC and on various military bases in the Peninsula/Norfolk area before retiring with 31 years of government service.
He is survived by his wife Linda Rogers Gootee.
Per his wishes, Frank will be cremated and no services are planned. However, please consider a memorial donation to the Animal Charity of your choice.
