Elisa A. Wharton

Seaford, Va. – Elisa A. Wharton passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at the age of 91. Elisa was a resident of Yorktown, Virginia at the time of her passing. Born November 20, 1927 in Manila, Philippines and graduated from Madame Kollerman’s School and received her diploma in dress making and began her career as a professional seamstress. She also had the passion for cooking domestic and international foods and loved to share them with her neighbors and friends.
She is survived by her son Franklin M Wharton and daughter and son-in-law Vivian and Jose Pahati and four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and siblings she was preceded in death by her Husband Billie E. Wharton on September 24, 2006.
