Edith Savanah Price Freeman

Grafton, Va. – Edith Savanah Price Freeman, 90, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023. Edith was born in North Carolina to William and Mamie Price. She has been a peninsula resident since 1950. She retired from York County School Division as a bus driver after 24 years. Edith loved to garden, read, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed being active with her church family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raeford Clark Freeman, of 68 years. She is survived by her children, Deborah Campbell and her husband, Mark and Richard Freeman; her grandchildren, Meagan Bibbins (Tommy), Katie Garrett (Hunter), Rebecca Lojko (Travis), and Blake Freeman; and four great grandsons, Trevor, Tyler, Trent, and Luke.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Friday, June 2, 2023 in Amory Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Park.
