Edgar (Bob) Boyd Reviea

Seaford, VA – Edgar (Bob) Boyd Reviea, Jr., 88, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025.
A native of California and former Poquoson resident before moving to York County in 1968, Bob was an Air Force Veteran and retired from civil service at Cheatham Annex. He was a member of Seaford Baptist Church. Bob was an avid hunter and a member of the Star City Hunt Club. He also loved the Los Angeles Dodgers. He coached baseball at the Newport News Apprentice School during the 1960’s and was active in adult leagues on the Peninsula. Bob particularly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edgar Reviea and Ida Mello; his step-father, Art Mello; his grandson, Taylor Boyd Reviea; his brother, Louis Reviea; and his sister, Nova Jean Harris.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Tewathaw Reviea; 3 sons, Bobby Reviea (Linda); Arthur Reviea (Pamela); and Tommy Reviea; 3 grandchildren, Robert Reviea, Jr. (Megan); Samantha Williams (Bennie); and Sarai Reviea. He had a special place in his heart for his 4 great-grandchildren, Matthew Williams, Rowan Reviea, Layne Reviea and Mason Williams. He also is survived by his step-brothers, Sam Mello (Janet) and Michael Mello (Leisha).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Seaford Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at 9:30AM prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Missions Ministry Fund at Seaford Baptist Church. Arrangements by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, Va.
