Donna Valentine Soles

Yorktown, Va. – Donna Valentine Soles passed away on Tuesday May 31, 2022. She was born in Cherokee, Oklahoma on June 6. 1938.
She was a graduate of York High School. On September 2, 1957 she married her high school sweet heart “Bobby” Soles.
Donna worked at the Naval Mine Depot, U.S. Postal Service, and York High School as the bookkeeper for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Evelyn Lines and Jesse Valentine, and her husband Bobby. She is survived by her two children, son, John R. Soles, Jr. and his wife LuAnne, daughter, JoAnna (Jody) S. Bauer and her husband Greg, all of Yorktown; 2 grandsons, J. Ryan Soles and his wife Lindsey and Jacob L. Soles and his wife Jessi; two great granddaughters Lillian H. Soles and Hadley R. Soles.
The family would like to thank Virginia Oncology Associates and Riverside Hospice for their kindness and love.
