Donald K. Teague

Donald K. Teague, 81 of York County, passed away on Tuesday, June 3,2025 after a short battle with cancer.
He was born in North Carolina but lived most of his life in James City and York County and graduated from York High School.
He was a US Navy Veteran and a former Nursing Home Administrator. He ultimately retired from Anheuser-Busch as a Maintenance Supervisor. Just prior to his retirement he used his lifelong love of cars and fixing things and completely restored a 1934 Ford.
Donald has always been a NASCAR fan, but he spent the late 60’s and 70’s as a semi-pro drag racer running up and down the east coast with his funny car (Big Red). He eventually settled down and traded the drag strip for the air strip and got his private pilot’s license.
Donald was predeceased by his parents Zeb and Jewel Teague; his brother-in -law Robert Gordon; and his sister-in-law Edie Gordon.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Patricia Barnes Teague; daughter Marcia Teague O’Donnell; son-in-law Shaun O’Donnell; grand children Aidan and Sierra O’Donnell; and nephew Gary Gordon.
Per Donald’s wishes there will be no services.
