Dolores Maurine (Swecker) Estey

Dolores Maurine (Swecker) Estey passed away on Tuesday August 27th, 2024 Hampton VA.
A native of Richlands Va. and Yorktown resident since 1976. She was the daughter of Edmond Lee Swecker and Edna Lee Swecker. Dolores was an Elementary and Middle School Teacher from the 1950’s through the 1990’s. She Taught in Delaware, Colorado, and Virginia. She retired from the Richlands VA school system. She received a Teaching Degree from Concord College and was a Member of the Daughters of the American Revolution

She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel John Estey and is survived by her sons Scott D. Estey of Ketchikan, AK Christopher L. Estey Sr. and his wife Roberta of Yorktown, VA grandchildren Christopher L. Estey Jr. (Maryanne) of Gloucester, VA Jonathan S. Estey of Williamsburg, VA and Kaitlyn E. Estey of Mascotte, FL great grandchildren Alexis Estey ,Chloe Estey, MaryLynn Estey, Lorelei Estey , Addison Estey, and Leyla Estey.

Graveside service will be held in Greenhills Memorial Gardens, Claypool Hill, VA Saturday October 12th, at 10 AM Arrangements by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, VA.
