Doan M. Wilcoxn
July 30, 1935 – June 21, 2025
Doan M. Wilcoxn, age 89, formerly of Wallkill, New York and recently residing with her daughter Dawn in York County, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Norwalk CT in July of 1935, Doan was the only daughter of Willis Francis Wilcox and Frances Dipirime Wilcox. Doan was a loving mother and grandmother. She had a difficult time, but carried on with optimism and tenacity. She will be greatly missed.
Doan was preceeded in death by her daughter, April Montanya. Doan is survived by her son Kenneth Montanya Jr of Wallkill NY with whom Doan resided until recently; her daughters Dawn M. Bonavita (Jeffrey) of York County; and Lonna E. DePuy of New Burgh NY; her grandchildren Andrew John DePuy (Erika), Elliot DePuy (Adrianna), Gabrielle Kanoff (Joe), Jeffrey J. Bonavita Jr. (Teresa), Troy T. Bonavita , Dr. Cassandra Bonavita (Fraser) (Jared); and great grandchildren Natasha Depuy, Ava Bonavita, Emmitt DePuy, and Roman Bonavita.
