Dianne was born in Suffolk, Virginia. The family moved to Newport News, where she grew up. She attended college in Richmond studying art and drama. Dianne’s profession took her into the housing industry where she worked as a mortgage broker for many years. After retirement from the mortgage business, she obtained her contractor’s license and built houses. In 2001 she moved to Yorktown.
She had a diverse collection of artworks and loved all things eclectic and different. She enjoyed creating and crafting through various mediums. She loved her home and being surrounded by the things that made her eyes happy; most of which were obtained during numerous trips to thrift stores! She enjoyed working in her yard and growing plants and herbs. She was an excellent cook and loved to have people over to eat, have a drink, and enjoy life.
In lieu of flowers, please make a small donation to the ASPCA in her honor. Arrangements By Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, Va.
