David “Larry” Lawrence Fox

David Lawrence Fox, 74, of Yorktown, VA, went to be with our risen Lord on October 25, 2024, surrounded by his wife and children.
Larry was born May 20th, 1950, in Yorktown, VA, the son of Ed and Audrey (Wood). He graduated from York High School in 1968.
After a career in the restaurant industry, he settled into a highly successful career in the jewelry trade, managing multiple stores throughout the area. During his career, he earned many awards and accolades, including bonus trips that led to a hobby of pleasure cruising across the globe. Larry was also an avid golfer and passed on his love of that sport to his son. In retirement, he also enjoyed traveling and camping in his RV, a passion shared by his daughter.
Larry married Pamela Jones on March 4th, 1972, at Rocky Mount United Methodist in Dillwyn, VA. They enjoyed 52 years of joy-filled marriage.
Remaining to cherish Larry’s memory are his loving wife Pamela, daughter Faith Davina Grubbs (Rob), son William David Fox (Jacquie), and his grandchildren Julianna Hope Grubbs, Robert Cole Grubbs, and William (Liam) Brenden Fox. He also leaves behind sister-in-laws Jennifer Fox and Rose Marie Taylor as well as brother-in-law James Jones (Annie Ruth). He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother William Wayne.
Funeral services, visitation, and reception will be held October 29th at 2:00pm at Grafton Christian Church in Yorktown, Va.
