David Ezykle Dunford

Hayes, VA – David Ezykle Dunford, 82, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024. He retired from Newport News Ship Building after 35 years of service.
David was preceded in death by his parents; Rufus and Mamie (Foleno) Dunford, and is survived by his wife Linda. He is also survived by his son; David Dunford of Newport News, his daughters; Debbie Logan of Hampton and Marsha Gualandri of Williamsburg, a stepson; Eric Weatherly of Florida, 2 sisters; Carol Lacks of Hampton, Peg Woodard of North Carolina, and his brother; Anthony Dunford of Georgia, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Amory Funeral Home, Grafton. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Rosewell Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations, can be made to the Gloucester – Mathews Humane Society.
