Daniel Allen Quinley

Newport News, Va.- Daniel Allen Quinley, 48, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023. Dan was born in Virginia and a peninsula resident since 1989. He graduated from Poquoson High School in 1995 and was a former drive for J.B. Hunt and was a school bus driver for Our Lady of Mount Carmel School and provided Janitorial service to church.
Dan was preceded in death by his father, Robert Quinley, and the love of his life, his soulmate and wife, Margie Henton Quinley and a brother Robert Edward Quinley, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Pauline Quinley and his sister Jennifer Quinley-Dabney and her husband Marques Dabney and their children, Daymian Quinley, Emma Josephine Quinley and Jordan Alexander Quinley-Dabney. Along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and his extended Henton family.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church with a reception to follow in honor of Dan in the church.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Peninsula Memorial Park. Arrangements by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, Va.
