Cynthia F. Hunsecker

Cynthia F. Hunsecker passed away surrounded by family on February 2, 2024. She was born in Newport News, Virginia. Her life was defined by her boundless love for her family, whom she cherished above all else. As a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she poured her heart and soul into nurturing and supporting those she held dear. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 50 years Gene, her 2 children; Jason Hunsecker (Sandy) of Ronceverte, WV and Kelly Bolton (David) of Lovettsville, VA, her 3 grandchildren who she loved so dearly; Haven, Calvin and Thomas, 2 siblings; Franklin Freda (Catharine) of Charlotte, NC and Carol Haltiner (Greg) of Augusta, GA. She was preceded in death by her father Dr. Franklin Freda and her mother Gloria Freda. A private service will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or please donate blood to the American Red Cross. Arrangements are by Amory Funeral Home.
