Charles Edward Ferebee, Sr.

Charles Edward Ferebee Sr. (MSGT USAF Retired) departed this life on Monday, November 27 at the age of 91. Charles retired with 21 years in the Air Force, having served around the world with his final assignment at Langley.
He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. His many past activities included Assistant Chairman of Deacons for the Yorktown Baptist Church, a Master Mason, and member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
Charles married his high school sweetheart Phyllis of 72 years. They worked as a team in numerous small businesses following his retirement. He is preceded in death by son, Charles Ferebee Jr., his parents, brothers Ralph, Bob and Page. He is survived by his wife Phyllis Ferebee and daughter Crystal Pilkins.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 30, at Amory Funeral Home, 410 Grafton Drive, Grafton, VA followed by burial service at Parklawn-Wood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Peninsula Rescue Mission in Newport News.
